So for my latest project (a biped robot) I bought a couple of motor controllers from Maytech, they are 100A ESC´s compatible with VESC™ open source project. The VESC is mounted in a high quality aluminum case, better heat dissipationand Dust-proof and splash-proof.
I changed Maytechs orginal firmware slightly to support hardware SPI for the encoder input. This way I dont need to remove the hall sensor filter.
Here is the first test drive of the Maytech 100A VESC (ESC) with an 3D printed actuator. using AS5048A encoder and Current limit set to 5A.
