The New BLDC motors have finally found home

Today I received the new BLDC motors for the Valify robot lawnmower. I bought them from eBay (China) and they delivery time was around 3 days shipped with DHL express. First impression is great! The bearings is completely silent and the overall quilty seems high. With the new motors I also both new VESC motor controllers (I will not use the Roboclaw ST 2x45A anymore)

The Valify robot lawnmower will use differential drive using two sensored brushless (BLDC) motors and controlled by two open source speed controllers (VESC) running Field Oriented Control mode to have near silent operation.

Lets see if I can test them this week and upload a video! I be back!
